Our
team was all over this packaging machinery event in Chicago, and
although this show was for machinery, there were a number of conveying
and component related suppliers on hand.
In 2 short years
there have
been many new advances in the conveying field, we were able to find
some of the more interesting things you should be aware
of:

belt cooler/pasteurizer infeed system which loads wide belts in a more
even and effective pattern. If you have a wide belt and uneven loading
of containers you should review this product to see if it fits into
your space, as you could get 15-20% more products through your existing
system.

new sprocket driven synthetic belt with a solid top surface. With
sanitation issues always growing, this product should be reviewed to
see if sanitation times can re reduced.

conventional lower plates to activate the positioning of a package.
